The Bridge House, Copsale 7th June 2007

Between my last entry and today I had a head injury. I now have concussion and short term memory loss. I’m supposed to avoid alcohol and rest and hope my memory comes back. Part of this process is to see my friends in familiar situations, which for me is down the pub! As I write this I don’t remember the evening so I’m relying heavily on my notes.

Badger Best Bitter (4.0%): Had a taste of this but it wasn’t so good, so the fact I’m not supposed to drink isn’t hindering me too much tonight.

I had a chat with Brian (the landlord I presume) who told me he used to be at The Crown in Clerkenwell which also appears on this blog as it is opposite where I work (See 2nd March 2007 entry). Small world.

The pub was comfy and accommodating and did not smell of dogs and cigarettes as it did on my previous visit.

Gosh. I had wondered where your blog had gone (and although this entry is dated 7th June, bloglines didn't show it to me until today!). Good to hear you're on the mend.

  2. Thanks. That's an excellent quirk of this blogger site, the date of the entry is when it was drafted, not when published.

So currently there are several entries under construction which will show up soon, but with dates in the past more relevant to when the drinking was actually done.
